Staying in Place Presents NYT’s Jane Brody, Sept. 26th

The senior  support group, Staying In Place, a not-for-profit membership organization which helps people (50+) remain in their own homes as they grow older, is having a free public meeting on  Sunday, September 26th, at 3:00 p.m., at the Woodstock Rescue Squad building on route 212. 

Guide-to-the-Great-Beyond[1] The guest speaker will be JANE BRODY, best-selling author and NEW YORK TIMES Personal Health writer, who will talk about her latest book, JANE BRODY’S GUIDE TO THE GREAT BEYOND.  The book, a discussion of end-of-life issues, will be for sale and will be signed by the author.  Refreshments will be provided.  For more information, visit stayinginplace.org or SIPsoapbox.blogspot.com

from 2 - 4 p.m. 
Rescue Squad in Woodstock,

We will update everyone on our new activities and plans, as well as have two speakers:  our local geriatrician, Dr. Arthur DiNapoli, who will discuss medications and answer general questions, and Sharon Murray Cohen, of Jewish Family Services in Kingston, who will discuss our new Care Management plan.  Refreshments will be offered.
