Hear Yo-Yo Ma wth Us at Tanglewood

August 3, Sunday: Tanglewood & YoYo Ma

The many-faceted career of cellist Yo-Yo Ma reflects his continual search for new ways to communicate with audiences and to find connections that stimulate the imagination. Yo-Yo Ma performs Lalo's Cello Concerto. The concert also features Ravel's Rapsodie Espagnole and Rachmaninoff's Symphonic Dances.

AAUW Pre-Trip Program: Enjoying Tosca


Whether or not you plan to attend the NYC Opera production of Tosca with us, you'll enjoy this special pre-trip program.


Our speaker, Raoul di Blasi, age 91, is still active as a Kingston voice and piano teacher. He discusses the opera, Tosca, with great affection. You'll spend a delightful hour enriching your appreciation of the opera.

“Why not come for the talk and then go out to dinner with the glorious arias of Tosca in your ears,” suggests Vivi.

When: Friday, March 14, at 4 p.m.
Where: the Kingston Area Library

If you're an opera lover, don't miss this trip. If you want to learn more about opera, what better way than joining us for this performance.

The NYC Opera's production of Tosca has been lauded by the critics.

Anna Shafajinskaia, one of opera’s most exciting dramatic sopranos, triumphantly returns to the leading role, performing with a sound The New York Times calls “appealingly dark and rounded.”
